Rapid Response
When water invades your Englewood property, every minute counts. Standing water weakens structural framing, saturates insulation, and creates the ideal breeding ground for mold within 24 to 48 hours. Atlas Contracting & Environmental Solutions deploys industrial-grade water extraction equipment the moment you call, pulling thousands of gallons per hour from basements, crawl spaces, and commercial interiors across the Englewood metro area.
Our emergency water removal teams handle the full spectrum of water intrusion events in Englewood: burst pipes from frozen supply lines during Colorado winters, sump pump failures during spring snowmelt, toilet and appliance overflows, and storm-driven flooding from heavy rain along the South Platte corridor. We respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, arriving at your Englewood property within 60 to 90 minutes of your call.
Burst Pipes & Flooding
Rapid response for burst pipes, sump pump failures, and heavy rain flooding. Our crews isolate the water source, set containment barriers, and begin high-volume extraction immediately to prevent structural saturation and secondary damage throughout your Englewood home or business.
Industrial Extraction
Industrial-grade water extraction and structural drying using high-capacity dehumidifiers rated to remove over 30 gallons of moisture per day. We deploy truck-mounted extractors alongside low-grain refrigerant dehumidifiers and high-velocity air movers to accelerate evaporation from subfloors, wall cavities, and ceiling assemblies.
Sewage Cleanup
Sewage backup cleanup involving full sanitation and biohazard disposal. Category 3 black water events require OSHA-compliant personal protective equipment, antimicrobial treatment of all affected surfaces, and proper disposal of contaminated porous materials including carpet padding, drywall, and insulation.
Moisture Detection
Moisture mapping with thermal imaging to find hidden water behind walls. Our FLIR-equipped technicians scan wall assemblies, subfloors, and ceiling cavities to identify trapped moisture that visual inspection alone would miss, preventing long-term structural decay and mold colonization in concealed spaces.
Mold Prevention
Preventing secondary mold growth through rapid air movement and controlled drying environments. We establish negative air pressure in affected zones, deploy HEPA-filtered air scrubbers, and maintain relative humidity below 45% throughout the drying process to stop mold spores from colonizing damp materials in your Englewood property.
Claims Documentation
Documentation for insurance claims, including moisture readings and photo evidence. We generate daily drying logs with pin-type and non-invasive moisture meter readings, time-stamped photographs of all affected areas, and itemized scope-of-work reports formatted for direct submission to your insurance adjuster using Xactimate estimating software.
Floor Restoration
Restoration of flooring, including hardwood, tile, and carpet. We use specialized floor drying mats to draw moisture from hardwood planks without removing them, saving homeowners the cost of full replacement when intervention occurs within the first 24 hours. For carpet, we extract water, treat with antimicrobials, and re-stretch after drying is complete.
Odor Elimination
Odor control and sanitization to remove musty flood smells. We deploy hydroxyl generators and thermal fogging equipment to neutralize microbial volatile organic compounds at the molecular level, eliminating persistent odors that conventional cleaning cannot address after water damage events.
Full Restoration
After the standing water is gone, the real restoration work begins. Structural drying is a controlled science that requires daily monitoring, precise equipment placement, and knowledge of how Colorado's semi-arid climate affects evaporation rates at altitude. ACES technicians monitor psychrometric conditions in your Englewood property daily, adjusting dehumidifier placement and airflow patterns to meet IICRC S500 drying goals within the shortest possible timeframe.
Our structural repair capabilities extend beyond drying. Once moisture readings confirm that materials have returned to pre-loss equilibrium, our licensed contractors handle drywall replacement, baseboard and trim reinstallation, paint matching, and flooring repair. Englewood homeowners work with a single team from emergency extraction through final punch-list walkthrough, eliminating the coordination headaches of hiring separate mitigation and reconstruction contractors.
ACES holds DUNS 117517457 and CAGE CODE 62FR3, qualifying us for government and commercial contracts that demand verified business credentials. Every water damage restoration project in Englewood follows our documented chain-of-custody protocols for contaminated materials, with disposal manifests available for your records and regulatory compliance.
Atlas Contracting & Environmental Solutions is a locally owned and operated restoration company serving Englewood and the greater Denver metro. Unlike national franchise networks, our crews live and work in the communities we serve, and every project is overseen by company principals rather than rotating franchise managers.

Local Knowledge
Englewood sits at the confluence of several water damage risk factors that make fast, professional restoration essential. The city's aging housing stock along South Broadway and the neighborhoods east of Santa Fe Drive includes homes built in the 1950s and 1960s with original plumbing that is increasingly prone to failure. Galvanized steel supply lines corrode from the inside out, eventually developing pinhole leaks or full ruptures that can dump hundreds of gallons into wall cavities and finished basements before the homeowner realizes what has happened.
Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles compound the problem. In Englewood, overnight temperatures can swing 40 degrees between afternoon and early morning during shoulder seasons. Pipes routed through exterior walls, unheated garages, or crawl spaces are especially vulnerable. When these lines freeze and burst, the resulting flood often goes undetected for hours, saturating framing lumber, subfloor sheathing, and insulation to the point where structural replacement becomes necessary if drying does not begin promptly.
Spring snowmelt along Little Dry Creek and the South Platte tributaries also creates seasonal flood risk for properties in low-lying areas of Englewood. Sump pump failures during peak melt events are among the most common emergency calls we receive from March through May. ACES keeps additional extraction equipment staged during these months to handle the increased call volume without delays. Our knowledge of Englewood's specific drainage patterns, soil conditions, and building stock means we arrive prepared with the right equipment configuration for your property type, whether it is a mid-century ranch with a finished basement or a multi-story commercial building along Hampden Avenue.
For Englewood property managers overseeing multi-unit buildings, water damage from an upstairs unit can cascade through multiple floors in minutes. ACES has the crew depth and equipment capacity to handle multi-unit events simultaneously, setting up containment and extraction on each affected floor to minimize cross-contamination and reduce total drying time. We coordinate directly with your tenants and insurance carrier to keep disruption manageable and documentation complete.

We had a roof leak in our kitchen caused by a roofer. Rob came out right away and assessed the issue and worked with myself and the roofer. That day he had made a plan for how the job would go, and began setting up equipment to keep my family safe. He walked me through every step of how the job would go and kept my husband and I informed throughout the process. He made sure that the toddler and newborn in my home would be safe throughout the entire demo process. I cannot recommend this company enough.

This is an honest place. There are so many disreputable companies out there in this industry, but Atlas is not one of them. Quick work, proper abatement to prevent contamination, and friendly service all come with the fairly priced Atlas contract. Nobody wants to have this work done because it usually means things have gone sideways in your home. That said, if you do, call Atlas Contracting and Environmental Solutions; the company is ACES!!!

Common questions from Englewood homeowners and property managers about water damage restoration services, costs, and timelines.
1-800-WATER-DAMAGE is a national franchise network that dispatches local affiliates to handle water damage calls. ACES is a locally owned and operated company based near Englewood, meaning you work directly with our principals rather than a rotating franchise crew. We focus on Englewood-specific regulatory compliance, including Colorado's environmental remediation standards, and we maintain continuity from initial extraction through final reconstruction.
Most residential water damage restoration projects in Englewood range from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on the category of water, square footage affected, and materials involved. Commercial projects vary significantly based on building size and use. Many homeowners insurance policies cover water damage restoration, and ACES works directly with your carrier to streamline billing and reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Yes. Our on-call teams are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays. We dispatch from our Sheridan facility and typically arrive at Englewood properties within 60 to 90 minutes. Immediate extraction is critical to prevent structural rot, mold growth, and secondary damage that escalates repair costs significantly.
Standard structural drying for a flooded basement takes 3 to 5 days under controlled conditions. The timeline depends on the volume of water, ambient humidity, materials affected, and the season. ACES technicians monitor moisture levels daily with calibrated meters and adjust equipment placement to achieve IICRC S500 drying goals as quickly as possible.
Absolutely. ACES provides direct billing to insurance companies and generates comprehensive documentation packages including daily moisture logs, time-stamped photo evidence, and Xactimate-formatted estimates. Our team works directly with your adjuster to ensure your claim is processed efficiently and that nothing is missed in the scope of covered repairs.
Yes. Sewage backups are classified as Category 3 black water, which requires specialized biohazard protocols. Our crews wear OSHA-compliant protective equipment, apply antimicrobial treatments to all affected surfaces, and dispose of contaminated porous materials like carpet padding and drywall according to Colorado waste handling regulations. Standard water removal does not require this level of decontamination.
ACES serves the entire Englewood metro area, including neighborhoods near Englewood Station, CityCenter Englewood, and the South Broadway corridor. Our dispatch facility in Sheridan provides fast access to all of Englewood via US-285 and South Santa Fe Drive, with typical arrival times of 60 to 90 minutes from your call.
In many cases, yes. ACES uses specialized floor drying mats that draw moisture from hardwood planks without requiring removal. Success depends on how quickly we begin drying after the water event — intervention within the first 24 hours dramatically improves salvage rates. If boards are too warped or damaged, we provide refinishing and replacement options to restore your floors.
